Job Description

Position Overview:
The Office Cleaner plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and hygienic workspace. This position is essential to reducing health risks and creating a professional environment that enhances employee productivity and well-being. The Office Cleaner will work collaboratively with the Office Guard and other staff to ensure a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing work surfaces, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Ensure that all office equipment and facilities are kept clean, organized, and in working condition.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues or required repairs to management.
• Implement proper cleaning techniques and use of equipment to ensure a thorough and effective cleaning process.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring that cleaning products and procedures used promote a safe environment.
• Collaborate with the Office Guard to maintain security measures while cleaning, such as ensuring doors are locked after hours and identifying any security concerns.
• Assist in the preparation of the office for events and meetings by maintaining cleanliness and organization in common areas.
• Provide exceptional service and support to staff and visitors, fostering a positive and professional environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work, preferably in an office or commercial environment.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, chemicals, and best practices for maintaining various surfaces.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and maneuvering equipment and supplies as necessary.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for all staff members and visitors.
