The Afghanistan Social Improvement Organization (ASIO) is a non-governmental and non-profit organization established in 2010. Registered with the Ministry of Economy under registration number 1579, ASIO operates as a domestic NGO. Committed to compliance with Afghanistan’s government laws, rules, and regulations, ASIO also adheres to donor guidelines and regulations.
ASIO considers itself accountable to the government of Afghanistan, partnering agencies, and the communities it serves. Our mission is to provide developmental and humanitarian services to those in need, regardless of their race, political affiliation, ethnicity, religion, or any other dependency.

Job Description
Job Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Head of Monitoring, Evaluation and Engineering Unit the Field Monitor will be responsible for undertaking the following tasks:
• Visit sites to collect information on projects status.
• Collect data on the performance indicators to assess the outputs of the program
• Collect information in projects progress with appropriate photos relevant to projects.
• Check quality of work.
• Provide feedback to the implementers on projects site on quality.
• Provide necessary training on field monitoring to regional/provincial staff.
• Compile field information in prescribed monitoring format.
• Close collaboration with community empowerment unit.
• Provide feedback to program unit.
• Participate in workshops and relevant meetings.
• Assist in effective reporting on the program activities.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
• Education:
o Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Civil Engineering, Agriculture, Development Studies, or a related field.
• Experience:
o Minimum of 3 years of experience in Agricultural and engineering supervision.
o Previous experience working in challenging and remote environments is an asset.
• Skills:
o Strong understanding of humanitarian principles and standards.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Proficiency in data collection tools and methodologies.
o Ability to write clear and concise reports.
o Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
o Fluency in local and English languages.
